Associations
The state of California requires no licensing or certification of home inspectors. Therefore, the scope of the home inspection and the qualifications and experience of an inspector can vary greatly. To ensure that the person entrusted for advice on the safety and conditions of a property is truly qualified, check that they are CREIA or ASHI certified. Rich Zak of Check It Out Property Inspections has been a proud certified member of both CREIA and ASHI since 2004. Learn more about each organization below.
